The 24-week part-time Cybersecurity Bootcamp equips you with the hands-on skills needed to defend against cyber threats, protect critical systems, and build a strong foundation for a career in this fast-growing field, ending with a capstone project where you apply your knowledge to a real-world scenario.

Curriculum Overview
Unit 1: Cybersecurity Fundamentals
In the first few weeks, you'll learn the core principles of cybersecurity, including threat landscapes, risk management, and security frameworks. You'll also gain hands-on experience with essential tools such as Linux, command-line interfaces, and networking basics.
Unit 2: Network and System Security
This unit focuses on securing networks, systems, and cloud environments. You'll explore firewalls, intrusion detection systems, VPNs, and encryption techniques. Additionally, you'll practice configuring secure networks and identifying vulnerabilities in different system architectures.
Unit 3: Ethical Hacking and Threat Detection
Learn how to think like a hacker to better defend against cyber threats. This unit covers penetration testing, social engineering, malware analysis, and threat intelligence. You'll use ethical hacking tools to conduct simulated cyberattacks in a controlled environment.
Unit 4: Incident Response and Security Operations
Understand how to detect, respond to, and mitigate cyber incidents. You'll learn best practices for security monitoring, log analysis, and digital forensics. This unit also covers Security Operations Center (SOC) workflows and incident handling processes.
Capstone Project
In the final phase, you'll apply your skills to a real-world cybersecurity challenge. Working as part of a team, you'll conduct risk assessments, simulate attacks, and implement defense strategies. Your project will demonstrate your ability to secure systems and respond to cyber threats effectively.
